Victoria Docherty Makes Ramapo Field Hockey History. Again

The junior forward is the first in program history to be named to the NFHCA Division III All-Region IV First Team.

MAHWAH, NJ — Junior forward Victoria Docherty has been named to the NFHCA Division III All-Region IV First Team, becoming the first Roadrunner in program history to achieve the honor.

Docherty led the Roadrunners to the program's first ever ECAC tournament title, while along the way setting a new single season record with 25 goals scored. She added 12 assists to that total for a team high 62 points. Read more: Ramapo College Field Hockey Takes Conference Tournament Crown

Docherty was also named NJAC First Team All-Conference, NFHCA National Offensive Player of the Week, a four-time NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honoree and ECAC Tournament MVP.

The NFHCA Division III All-Region team announcement is the first in a list of postseason awards to come from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA). The NFHCA will announce Regional Players of the Year on Nov. 29, followed by the NFHCA All-American teams on Dec. 14 and the NFHCA National Player of the Year on Dec. 16.
