Car Valued At $85,000 Stolen From Manalapan Store Parking Lot
A Freehold resident was parked outside a Manalapan business on a Monday morning; keys were inside the unlocked vehicle.

MANALAPAN, NJ — A car worth $85,000 was stolen from the parking lot of a local store in the space of an hour that it was unattended, police reported.
A Freehold resident, age 52, reported to police on Jan. 16 that the vehicle was stolen that morning, sometime between 8:55 a.m. and 9:55 a.m.
It was parked at the Home Fashion Center, 520 Route 9, in Manalapan, police said.

The vehicle was reported to be unlocked, with the key fob inside the vehicle, police said.
Patrolman Jeff Emslie took the report, which is pending further investigation.
