Driver Killed In July 4th Englishtown Crash Identified: Report

Family members are remembering the North Brunswick woman as "the heart of our family."

ENGLISHTOWN, NJ — The driver killed in a single-vehicle crash on July 4 has been identified, according to a report.

Jennifer Rodriguez, 30, of North Brunswick died at the scene of the crash on Main Street, mycentraljersey.com reported. Rodriguez was driving south on Route 527, also known as Main Street, when she lost control, hit a guardrail and overturned just south of the Gordons Corner Road intersection, the report said.

Rodriguez's family has started a GoFundMe to cover the cost of her funeral and memorial service. You can access the fund here.

"Jennifer was more than just my sister she was my best friend, my confidant, and the heart of our family." Rodriguez's sister wrote on the fundraiser page. "Her vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and boundless love touched everyone who knew her."
