Florida Woman Charged with DWI, Drug Possession in Manalapan

The woman was stopped on Route 33 East in Manalapan Township.

Manalapan police arrested a Florida woman for allegedly being in possession drugs, drug paraphernalia, and driving while intoxicated on Route 33 on the night of Thursday, March 28.

Ptl. Phil Accatatta stopped Jennifer Murphy, 25, of Tarpon Springs, Fl. for failing to maintain a lane while traveling eastbound on Route 33, according to police.

Murphy was arrested for driving while intoxicated and found to be in possession two hypodermic needles, drug paraphernalia, and a controlled dangerous substance. She was processed at the Manalapan Police Department and released pending a court date, police said.
