Man Punched and Robbed of Cell Phone in Manalapan

Three assailants approached the man, assaulted him, and stole his cell phone, police said.

Another man was assaulted and robbed of his cell phone in Manalapan less than a week after a Manalapan High School student was stabbed and robbed of his cell phone, according to police.

A 24-year-old Freehold Township man was attacked and robbed of his cell phone by three individuals at around 11:45 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, police said.

The victim told police that three white men approached his car on Union Hill Road, had him step from the vehicle, and then punched him in the face and stole his cell phone. The cell phone is valued at $200.
