Manalapan Man Arrested in Connection with Englishtown Jewelry Theft

Manalapan resident Jordan Moskowitz was charged by Manalapan Police Thursday in connection with .

According to an arrest warrant issued by the Manalapan Township Police Department, Moskowitz, 29, drove another man to the Englishtown Auction and waited in the car while he shoplifted two gold chains valued at $3,100. Then, Moskowitz drove the man away from the scene aware that he had just shoplifted two gold chains, police said.

Moskowtiz was charged with conspiracy to commit shoplifting. At the time the charges were made Moskowitz was already remanded in Monmouth County Correctional Institute for allegedly attempting to burglarize a Marlboro home. His fingerprints were found at the scene. Moskowitz's bail is currently set at $15,000.
