MANALAPAN, NJ — Special Olympics New Jersey and the NJ Law Enforcement Torch Run brought together over 110 flag football teams, including the Manalapan Police Department PBA 229, for a fundraising event.

The event earlier in March helped raise money and awareness for the athletes of Special Olympics New Jersey, the department said in a Facebook post.

"We wish to thank the football officials, all of the volunteers, the staff of Professional Physical Therapy, the New York Giants, MetLife Stadium and the countless others that gave of themselves so this event was such a success," the post from the Manalapan PBA said.
