Nearly $800 In Merchandise Taken From Manalapan Wegmans
A 65-year-old New Jersey woman reportedly lifted hundreds of dollars in merchandise from the Manalapan Wegmans store earlier this month.
MANALAPAN, NJ - A 65-year-old New Jersey woman reportedly lifted nearly $800 in merchandise from the Manalapan Wegmans store earlier this month, authorities said.
Shortly before 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2023, employees at the Route 9 location reported that a woman had shoplifted $786.08 worth of merchandise, Manalapan police said in a blotter statement.
The woman, later identified as Diana Leventhal, an unemployed resident of Monroe Township, was arrested and transported to Manalapan Police Headquarters. She was processed and released pending a future court date, police said.
