Student Council Holds 3rd Annual Blood Drive

The Pine Brook Student Council, in conjunction with the Central Jersey Blood Center, hosted a record setting blood drive on February 7th. Students participated in a month long competition titled the “Blood Donor Bowl.” As a result, over 100 people showed up to donate and 90 units of blood were collected. The CJBC was so impressed with Pine Brook that the school received an official citation from the New Jersey State Legislature, as did Mr. Spalthoff for volunteering to have the student who brought in the most donations pick a design to be shaved into the back of his hair.
