Police: Manalapan Delivery Man Steals Galvanized Metal

The driver and the passenger of were charged with theft and conspiracy to commit theft by Manalapan police.

A Manalapan man was arrested by police for allegedly stealing 14 large sections of galvanized metal.

Delivery driver Mark Solinski, 49, was seen transporting the metal in the bed of a pick-up truck while driving in the field off of Route 33 near Millhurst Road in the evening of March 17.

Ptl. Adam Sosnowski stopped the vehicle and a subsequent investigation revealed that Solinski stole the metal, which is estimated to value about $550, according to Manalapan police.

Additionally, Solinski's driver's license and registration privileges were suspended. He was arrested, processed, and charged with theft and also issued two motor vehicle summonses for driving while suspended and suspended registration, police said.

After a further investigation into this incident, Solinski was also charged with conspiracy to commit theft on March 22. The passenger in the pick-up truck, Heather Pincus, 39, of Manalapan, was also arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit theft and theft on March 22. Pincus was processed and released on her own recognizance.
