Police: Variety of Drugs Found in Manalapan Motor Vehicle Stop
Two men were arrested by Manalapan police after they were found to be in the possession of drugs, according to police.

Manalapan police arrested two men for reportedly being in possession of a variety of drugs during a routine motor vehicle stop.
Ptl. Kyle Earley of the Manalapan Police Department stopped a white van travelling north on Route 9 on the morning of Monday, March 4. An investigation revealed that the driver, Howard Clayton, and the passenger, Jason Platt, were in possession of marijuana, a Fentanyl pain patch, and an unknown drug believed to be a narcotic, according to police.
Clayton, 33, of Jackson, and Platt, 30, of New Egypt, were arrested and charged with possession of dangerous substances. They were released pending their court date.
