String Of Home, Car Burglaries Reported In Manalapan In April
Several home and car burglaries were reported in Manalapan from April 12 to 18, according to a police blotter released by Manalapan police.
MANALAPAN, NJ - Several home burglaries were reported in Manalapan from April 12 to 18, according to a police blotter released by Manalapan police.
On April 13, a 58-year-old Manalapan man reported that an unknown person entered his Normandy Court home and stole items valued at around $200. On April 16, a 41-year-old Manalapan resident reported that a 39-year-old Manalapan resident stole a $900 cell phone from a Conover Street residence; the next day, on April 17, a 60-year-old Manalapan resident reported that two individuals took various items, valued at around $600, from his Hanover Drive home.
All three cases are currently pending further investigation.

Separately, two motor vehicle burglaries were reported during the same time period:
On April 12, a 56-year-old old Bridge resident told police that an unknown person had entered his vehicle and stole items valued at around $6,100 while the vehicle was parked at the Towne Pointe Shopping Center. On April 14, a Monroe resident reported to police that a man who fled the area in a dark colored SUV entered an unlocked vehicle parked in the Yorktown Center parking lot. While no monetary loss was reported, the incident is still under investigation.
