MANALAPAN, NJ — A car worth over $91,000 parked in the driveway of an Appomattox Drive residence was reported stolen sometime overnight Feb. 28 to March 1, police report. On Wednesday, March 1, a Manalapan resident, 33, reported to police that sometime between 8:16 p.m. February 28 and 8:07 a.m. March 1, someone stole the car. Police said the car was unlocked and had the key fob inside. Patrolman Edward Burns handled the report. The incident is pending further investigation. Police post regular reminders for residents to remove valuables from unoccupied vehicles, remove key fobs and lock cars. Police released the report as part of the department's weekly police activity report.
