Theft Of Car Worth $91K Reported In Manalapan: Police

Car thefts continue in area communities, this time with the theft of a car from a Manalapan driveway, police report.

MANALAPAN, NJ — A car worth over $91,000 parked in the driveway of an Appomattox Drive residence was reported stolen sometime overnight Feb. 28 to March 1, police report.

On Wednesday, March 1, a Manalapan resident, 33, reported to police that sometime between 8:16 p.m. February 28 and 8:07 a.m. March 1, someone stole the car. Police said the car was unlocked and had the key fob inside.

Patrolman Edward Burns handled the report. The incident is pending further investigation.
