Government Meetings

Englishtown

The Englishtown Borough Council is holding their regular meeting at the Englishtown Municipal Building tonight at 6:30 p.m. They will be introducing the municipal budget for 2013. For the full agenda, click here.

Manalapan

  • The Fire Prevention Committee is meeting in room 107 of the Manalapan Municipal Building at 8 p.m. on Monday, March 18.
  • The Board of Heath is meeting in room 216 of the Manalapan Municipal Building at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19.
  • The Environmental Commission is meeting in room 213 of the Manalapan Municipal Building at 7:30p.m. on Wednesday, March 20.
  • The Zoning Board is meeting in the courtroom of the Manalapan Municipal Building at 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 21. Two proposals are in front of the board including an expansion of Golden Years Daycare, an adult day care center, and an expansion of Recro Leisure. For the full agenda, click here.
  • The Senior Citizen Executive Board is meeting in room 213 of the Manalapan Municipal Building at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 22.


New Business Grand Openings

Nuovo Trattoria Restaurant is having a grand opening celebration on Wednesday, March 20 at 5 p.m. They are located 345 Route 9 South in Manalapan, where the old Le Peep Griddle and Grill used to be.

The Place Nail & Day Spa is holding a grand opening on Thursday, March 21 at 9:30 a.m. at 285 Gordons Corner Road in Manalapan.

School Meetings and Events


The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District Board of Education is holding a public hearing on the 2013-2014 school budget on Thursday, March 21 at 7:30 p.m. at Pine Brook School.

The Freehold-Regional School District Board of Education is holding a meeting on Thursday, March 21 at 8 p.m. at the administration building in Englishtown.

The Manalapan Teen Driver Safety Program is taking place at Manalapan High School at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 18.

Spring Recess for Manalapan-Englishtown schools begins at the end of the school day on Friday, March 22, this includes Manalapan High School.
