Wemrock Celebrates Reading

During the month of February the students were “stuck on reading”, competing to see how many books they could read! All during the last week in February, the students celebrated a special spirit week dedicated to reading. Each and every door was decorated to reflect a favorite Dr. Seuss book. It was so hard to choose a favorite! Many surprise visitors came to read to the classes, sharing the stories that they love. Finally, on Friday, the staff performed The Cat in the Hat for the first and second grade students.
