BELMAR, NJ – There are three spots on the Belmar Board of Education up for election this upcoming November, with only two candidates filing a petition to run before Monday afternoon's deadline. According to the Monmouth County Clerk's Office, the only two fillers were incumbent board member Michelle Lomas and Erika Salgado. The general election will take place on Nov. 2.
