Authorities Ramp Up Search For Missing Neptune City Woman Whose Car Was Found On Belmar Bridge
Monmouth County Crime Stoppers offering reward for information leading to 19-year-old Sarah Stern's location.

It's been five days since Sarah Stern parked her grandmother's 1994 Oldsmobile on the Route 35 bridge in Belmar and disappeared into the night.
The car was discovered around 2:45 a.m. early Saturday morning, just a few hours after Sarah left her grandmother's Neptune City home.
Police, the Coast Guard conducted a water and air search most of the day Saturday, then called off the search later that day, Mayor Matthew Doherty has said.

Her father Michael Stern told nj.com recently he hopes that someone driving on the bridge around midnight and the time the empty car was found at 2:45 a.m. Saturday may have seen something that can help police.
"On a Friday night around midnight, there's a lot of activity on that bridge," he said.
Stern was in Florida at the time of the car's discovery.
