Cat Stuck In Overhead Wires Rescued By Sea Girt Police Officer

On Thursday morning, Sea Girt Police were called to a report of a cat that had become stuck in overhead cable wires.

SEA GIRT, NJ — On Thursday morning, Sea Girt Police were called to a report of a cat that had become stuck in overhead cable wires.

Patrolman Randy Maccanico responded and borrowed a homeowner’s ladder to rescue the cat.

He was able to pull the cat down and "safely return the adventurous feline to its grateful owner," said Sea Girt Police. "Just another reminder that policing in our community is truly full service!"
