Community's Input Wanted In Belmar Superintendent Search
The current superintendent of schools is retiring at the end of the year

BELMAR, NJ – The Belmar Board of Education is asking for the public’s input into the search for the next Superintendent of Schools for the district. The current superintendent, David Hallman, is retiring at the end of the calendar year.
In a letter posted on the district website, the board of education said that New Jersey School Boards Association search consultant, Kathy Winecoff, has created online surveys to help gather input from English and Spanish-speaking Belmar residents, as well as administrators and staff. The information gathered will be used to shape a variety of candidate review
documents and interview questions.
All surveys are anonymous, and no email or identifiable information is needed to complete the
surveys. All data provided in the surveys will first go to New Jersey School Boards Association
then the Board of Education to assist them in the selection process.
