MANASQUAN, NJ – Manasquan's planning board will hear an application to install a drive-thru pick-up lane at the Main Street Station shopping plaza on Tuesday.

According to the application, this lane would be for the CVS and for Bubbakoo's Burritos and Esposito's Pizza. It would be created by removing part of the back of the building to make both the pick-up lane and a designated spot for deliveries.

In addition, the existing two-way driveway aisle would be changed to a one-way, with its exit being on Warren Avenue.

The application does have a couple of variance requests as the building is located in the borough's business zone, which prohibits drive-thrus of any type.

Initially sent in July, this application was turned down to the proposal not meeting specific requirements, including parking spaces and general coverage area.

The Planning Board will be hearing an application from the Manasquan Elks to build an outdoor bar on their property during Tuesday's meeting.
