Dorothy Kelley Bolton Myers Of Manasquan Dies At 94

Dorothy Kelley Bolton Myers of Manasquan passed away peacefully in her sleep on Nov. 11 at home with her family by her side. She was 94.

She was born and raised in Richmond, VA and lived in River Edge, New Jersey and Tecumseh, Michigan before she moved to Manasquan in 1959.

Dorothy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a communicant of St. Denis Roman Catholic Church in Manasquan.

Her family was the main focus of her life. She helped manage the family businesses - the Marlin Tuna Camp and Sea Breeze restaurants in Manasquan for several years in the 1960s.

Dorothy was a member of the Manasquan Elks Ladies Auxiliary #2534, served as an officer and was chosen "Lady of the Year." She will be remembered by many dear friends of the Elks and Glimmer Glass boating community.

Dorothy was predeceased by her parents Robert J. and Rosa C. Kelly, her three brothers and three sisters. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Myles Bolton in 1985. Dorothy is survived by husband of 23 years, Harry C. Myers of Manasquan, a sister, Mary McCann of Mechanicsville, VA, her son, Joseph M. Bolton and his wife Jane of Jacksonville, FL, her daughters, Diana B. Olsen and her husband Henry of Brick and Patricia A. Bolton of Manasquan.

She is also survived by her grandsons, Christopher J. Bolton of Jacksonville, FL, Geoffrey M. Bolton and his partner Dr. Karen L. Figone, Oakland, CA and many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16 at the Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road in Manasquan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 17 at St. Denis R.C. Church in Manasquan. Internment will follow at St. Catherine's Cemetery in Sea Girt.
