How Many Inches Of Snow Will Manasquan Get, And When?
There's a good chance that the Jersey Shore area will see a foot of snow or more, according to the National Weather Service.
MANASQUAN, NJ - It's already started to snow in New Jersey, but forecasters expect much more to come Friday night into Saturday.

Monmouth County - alongside Ocean, Cape May, Atlantic and Burlington counties - was issued a blizzard warning by the National Weather Service on Friday. The warning is in effect 7 p.m. Friday through 7 p.m. Saturday. The agency expects accumulating snow to begin Friday evening, becoming heavy at times through Saturday morning and diminishing that afternoon.

“Our Public Works crews have applied salt brine and magnesium chloride-treated rock salt in advance of the storm, which we have done since 2007,” said County Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone in a statement. “Through our unique Shared Services program, the County will assist municipalities, Belford Ferry Terminal, Naval Weapons Station Earle, 35 building complexes with snow and ice removal, in addition to the 1,000 miles of road throughout the County, to keep residents and travelers as safe as possible.”
The Borough of Manasquan has implemented its emergency parking ban, effective 7 p.m. Friday through 7 p.m. Sunday in order to facilitate snow removal. Residents are also asked to clear a three-foot circle around fire hydrants so emergency responders can locate and utilize hydrants if there is a fire.
Garbage pickup Saturday has been suspended in the borough and will be picked up on Monday.
Here's the National Weather Service's forecast for the Jersey Shore as of 5 p.m. Friday:
Friday: Snow likely, mainly after 5 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 36. North wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Friday Night: Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Widespread blowing snow after 4 a.m. Low around 20. Blustery, with a north wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New snow accumulation of 5 to 9 inches possible.
Saturday: Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Widespread blowing snow. High near 25. Windy, with a north wind around 30 mph, with gusts as high as 45 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 5 to 9 inches possible.
Saturday Night: A chance of snow, mainly before 7pm. Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 11. Wind chill values as low as -3. Blustery, with a northwest wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 26. West wind 10 to 15 mph.
Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 16.
