Monmouth and Ocean counties took the brunt of the snowfall and high winds in Saturday's blizzard, according to the National Weather Service.
MANAQSUAN, NJ - Monmouth and Ocean counties took the brunt of the snowfall and high winds in Saturday's blizzard, according to the National Weather Service.
On average, eight to 12 inches of snow fell through Monmouth County by the time the nor'easter ended, with the most snowfall on the coast and the least inland.
Manalapan and Middletown got 11. Holmdel got 14 inches.

But the snow increased as you headed south and along the coast: Eatontown got 14 inches. Howell got 15 inches. Spring Lake Heights got 17 inches. Asbury Park got 12 inches. Manasquan got 18.4 inches.
Toms River and Ocean County got even more snow: Forked River had 17 inches. Beachwood logged 19 inches and Bayville had 21 inches. In Toms River, the weight of snow and ice caused a partial collapse of the John Bennett Indoor Athletic Complex.

And Atlantic City had more than a foot of snow before 9 a.m. Saturday, according to local police there. Atlantic City International Airport recorded 16 inches of snow. Little Egg Harbor saw 19 inches of snowfall.
Central and North Jersey got four to eight inches on average.
At one point up to 1,000 customers in Monmouth and Ocean counties lost power during the storm, a JCP&L spokesman told the Asbury Park Press. But as of Saturday night, nearly all power outages had been restored.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 26. Northeast wind around 10 mph.
Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 38. Northeast wind 10 to 15 mph.
Tuesday Night: Patchy fog after 1 a.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 43.
Wednesday Night: A chance of rain after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
Thursday: A chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 48. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent.
Thursday Night: Rain. Low around 32. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.
Friday: Rain likely, mainly before 1 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 46. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.
Friday Night: A chance of rain and snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 16. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
