Sunny Skies, Low Risk Of Rip Currents Forecast For Today

The National Weather Service is calling for mostly sunny skies at Monmouth County beaches with highs in the upper 80s. Winds will be from the west at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
There's a low risk of rip currents today, but rips can still occur at near jetties and other structures. Always swim on a guarded beach and never swim alone or at night. The NWS suggests you bring a flotation device with you when you head into the surf.
