NEW JERSEY – Another storm could pose troubles for New Jersey – especially if you're planning a big weekend, and then you've got that big Friday afternoon and Monday morning commute. Snow squalls are also possible.

A storm system is expected to soak New Jersey a bit over the next few days, and even some snow could fall in some areas of the state, according to the National Weather Service.

Much of the rain is expected to arrive after 5 p.m. on Friday and then fall fairly consistently until Sunday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

Because the storm is now expected to remain weak and move at a rapid pace, there is less of a chance that accumulating snow occurs on non-paved surfaces in New Jersey, according to AccuWeather.

One weak storm is likely to spread flurries and perhaps a snow squall from Sunday night to Monday near and north of I-80 before a larger storm has the potential to bring more snow or rain, changing to snow to the Northeast from Tuesday night to Wednesday, according to AccuWeather.
