Expect sunny skies at Monmouth County beaches, with a high of 80 degrees. Winds will be from the northwest at 5 miles per hour, becoming southeast in the afternoon.
The rip current risk is low today, but rips are always possible, especially near jetties and other structures. Never swim on an unguarded beach and never swim alone or at night. The NWS suggests you always bring a flotation device with you when you go in the water.

Waves will be from 3 to 4 feet, with southerly swells around two feet. The ocean water temperature is 72 degrees.
The ultraviolet index is an 8, which the NWS considers very high, so bring the sunscreen. There is no lightning threat.

High tide at Belmar rolled in at 9:02 a.m. Low tide will arrive at 3:08 p.m., followed by another high tide at 9:14 p.m.
