Transformer Fire Leads To Power Outage In Belmar
The fire occurred on Highway 35 and has led to a power outage throughout parts of town, Belmar Police said.

BELMAR, NJ — A transformer fire on Highway 35 has led to a power outage throughout parts of Belmar, the Belmar Police Department said.
JCP&L is currently on location to resolve the issue, but police said there is no ETA for power restoration.
According to JCP&L's outage tracker, there are 883 customers in Belmar affected by the outage. JCP&L is currently estimating that power may be restored by noon.
