Volunteers Needed To Search Area Near Where Missing Neptune City Woman Disappeared
Anyone who wants to volunteer should go to Ocean Grove at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday

It's been a week since the 1994 Oldmobile 88 parked on the Route 35 bridge in Belmar was found abandoned.
And it's been a week since anyone has seen Neptune City resident 19-year-old Sarah Stern.
Friends and family have organized a search party that begins at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday at Ocean Avenue and Ocean Pathway in Ocean Grove, according to the Sarah Stern is Missing Facebook page.

Volunteers will be asked to sign in, obtain flyers and be assigned a location to search.
The locations include primarily water areas in Long Branch, Deal, Allenhurst, Asbury Park, Ocean Grove, Bradley Beach, Avon, Belmar, Spring Lake, Sea Girt and Manasquan.

"You are volunteering at your own free will and understand that you will not be compensated for the time you spend searching," according to the post. "You will be searching around water and wooded areas and are doing so at your own discretion and risk. You may be subjected to sensitive or disturbing matter."
Any information that is found or uncovered during the search should not be tampered with and also must be reported immediately to team leaders or authorities.
Searchers should be over 18.
Volunteers are asked to bring flashlights, binoculars or metal detectors if they have them.
"The search will carry on until each area and location is thoroughly checked," the post states. "Any amount of time that you could volunteer would be helpful and greatly appreciated.
