Icy conditions among frigid overnight temperatures prompted the delay. See the delayed opening times for each school.

MANCHESTER, NJ — The Manchester Township School District will have a delayed opening Tuesday because of concerns about icy conditions from low temperatures following Monday's snowfall.

The 90-minute delayed opening means the morning Y Kids program is canceled, as are before-school activities.

The following are the start times for each school under the delayed opening:

  • Manchester Township High School: 8:40 a.m.
  • Manchester Township Middle School: 9:09 a.m.
  • Manchester Township Elementary School (PreK-5): 10:15 a.m.
  • Ridgeway Elementary School (PreK-5): 9:45 a.m.
  • Whiting Elementary School (PreK-5): 10:15 a.m.
  • Regional Day School: 10:15 a.m.
