Free Preschool Registration Opens Soon In Manchester Schools
The pre-registration is on a first-come, first-served basis for the 2024-25 school year in Manchester.
MANCHESTER, NJ — The Manchester Township School District will be accepting pre-registration for the district's free universal preschool program for the 2025-26 school year starting Monday, Jan. 6.
The spots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The pre-registration goes live at noon on Monday, the district said.
The documents required are listed on the Manchester Schools Preschool page, which is where the pre-registration link will go live, the district said.

The required documents must be submitted during the pre-registration and brought to the in-person appointment to complete registration. They are as follows:
- Birth certificate: Original copy with a raised seal (photocopies will not be accepted).
- Driver’s license or photo ID of guardians
- Two proofs of residency: One primary proof of residency (Tax bill, deed, mortgage statement, or current lease); One secondary proof of residency (utility bill dated in the last 45 days or a driver's license with the same address as primary residency). If you do not have a lease or mortgage in your name, additional documentation will be required. Please call 732-350-5900 x2251 or x6041 for further information.
- Immunization Records
- Documentation of a physical completed within the past 12 months
- Custody Papers (if applicable)
A spot in the preschool program will not be finalized until all registration materials have been verified in person on the date of your registration appointment.

Parents/guardians who arrive at their appointment without complete documentation will forfeit their spot in the preschool program.
Parents/guardians without all of the documents listed during the pre-registration process will not be able to book an in-person appointment to complete registration.
