Grand Opening Set For Lakehurst Cannabis Store

LAKEHURST, NJ — After months of waiting, Lakehurst's first cannabis dispensary is set to open at last.

High Profile's Lakehurst dispensary is celebrating its grand opening this weekend, C3 Industries, the dispensary's owner, announced.

The store will begin selling adult recreational use cannabis on Friday, March 15, with the official ribbon-cutting ceremony set for Saturday, March 16, fittingly at 4:20 p.m., the company said.

It will be a weekend full of celebrations, featuring product specials, vendor tables from Fernway, Verano and TerrAscend, and food trucks and prizes, the company said.

Visitors can also expect a live performance from the Bruce Springsteen cover band, Asbury Fever, on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m.

"We are thrilled to welcome C3’s High Profile dispensary to our vibrant community," Lakehurst Mayor Harry Robbins said in a news release. "The grand opening celebration promises to be an exciting event for residents and visitors alike, showcasing the diverse offerings of our local businesses and providing a platform for entertainment and enjoyment."

Robbins, in the release, said the addition of the dispensary in the former Burger King restaurant revitalized a building that sat vacant for years.

High Profile Lakehurst, at 145 Route 70, is C3’s first retail location in New Jersey, and its 24th nationwide.

The store will be open to customers 21 or older from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. It will offer drive-through and curbside pickup services. Customers also can order through High Profile Lakehurst’s online shopping platform.

The company touts its "wide selection of highly curated, premium cannabis strains and products," including bulk-bundle purchasing options for flower, pre-rolls, edibles, concentrates, vape cartridges, tinctures and topicals. They offer discounts for seniors, veterans, medical card holders and cannabis industry workers.
