Sports run deep in Manchester, and Manchester Township High School has long been at the heart of it. It’s no surprise some standout talent once wore the Hawks uniform. Today we're celebrating five unforgettable athletes from Manchester Township High School who made a name for themselves well beyond the hometown field.
1. Andrew Valman - Two-Time Olympic Gold Medalist Sprinter
A three-time Collegiate All-American at Seton Hall, Valman’s talent continued at a global level, becoming a two-time Olympic Gold Medalist. Currently, he is the Head Coach at the University of Maryland and has coached over 50 All-Americans. (Source: UMTerps.com)
2. Leilani Correa - Former WNBA Draft Pick & SEC Sixth Woman of the Year

3. Kevin Malast - Former NFL Linebacker

4. Destiny Adams - McDonald’s All-American & Gatorade Player of the Year

5. Nicole Webb - All-State Pitcher
The last member of the list had a decorated career at Manchester Township, earning All-State, All-County and All-Shore honors, among other accolades, before continuing her career at FDU.
