Hydrant Flushing Starting Soon In Manchester
The spring 2025 hydrant flushing is set to begin shortly, officials said.
MANCHESTER, NJ — Manchester Township will be flushing fire hydrants beginning in April and continuing into May as part of its water system maintenance.
The utilities department's Eastern and Western service areas will be conducting the flushing and it will happen during the day and at night, officials said.
Each area will be notified when flushing is set to begin in their area.

The flushing may cause lower pressure, and some discoloration in the water, officials said. Residents are reminded to run their cold tap water until the water runs clear.
"We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause," officials said.
