MANCHESTER, NJ — A former Woodbridge volunteer fire chief and current JFK Hospital employee from Manchester has been charged with sexually assaulting a young teenager in the early 1990s, Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey said.

Carey said the investigation began after the alleged victim, who is now an adult, alerted authorities. Jazikoff served as a volunteer firefighter in the Port Reading Fire Department District #2 at the time of the incident. He served as the department's chief in 1996.
