Manchester Recreation Gauging Interest In Field Hockey

The recreation department's fall programs will begin soon, officials said.

MANCHESTER, NJ — The Manchester Township Recreation Department is preparing to launch its fall and winter program offerings.

The first planned program is field hockey, and the Recreation Department was seeking feedback on interest in the program.

The program is set to begin Sept. 15 and is for students in grades 5 -8. It will be 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m. and will rotate between Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week.

"If you are interested in your child doing field hockey please comment below," the recreation department said on its Facebook page (see the link below). "We would like to see how much interest we have in this program."

The fall and winter programs will be available for sign-up through RecDesk soon, the recreation department said.
