Manchester Seeks Adult Volunteers For 4-H Program

Manchester Township is seeking adults to help supervise the township recreation department's 4-H program.

MANCHESTER, NJ — The Manchester Township Recreation Department is seeking adult volunteers for the township's 4-H program.

4-H is a learn-by-doing education program that teaches kids from kindergarten through high school about topics such as environmental sciences, model rocketry, and animal sciences.

  • Provide quality informal education programs for youth in grades K–13
  • Encourage responsibility, community awareness and character development in youth
  • Strengthen the skills of adults working with youth
  • Improve community partnerships and collaborations

Manchester is seeking two to four adult volunteers. Please contact the Recreation Department if you are interested at 732-657-8121 or send an email to recreation@manchestertwp.com. A background check will be required through the township to volunteer in the program.
