Manchester Township Educational Foundation 2023 Scholarship Winners
The MTEF administers Scholarships on behalf of several community organizations and memorial gifts.
The Manchester Township Educational Foundation (MTEF) awarded $55,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors in the Manchester Township High School Class of 2023. The MTEF administers these scholarships on behalf of several community organizations and memorial gifts.
- Lawrence C. Hesse Sr. Memorial Scholarship ($10,000 over 4 years)-Hannah Repuyan
- Charles J. Hesse III Memorial Scholarship ($10,000 over 4 years)-Callie Rommel
- Whiting Volunteer First Aide Squad Elsie Layendecker Memorial Scholarship ($10,000 over 4 years for 2 winners)-Caitlyn McGuire and Julianna Griffith
- Whiting Volunteer First Aide Squad Elsie Layendecker memorial Scholarship ($1,000 for students pursuing EMT careers 4 winners) - Adeposi Aderogba, Nicole Collinson, Caitlyn McGuire and Maya Bachonski
- Whiting Volunteer First Aide Squad Elsie Layendecker Memorial Scholarship ($1,000 for a student attending a trade school)- Madison Proveaux
- MTEF Dr. William E Defeo Scholarship ($1,000)- Abigail Williams
- Nicole Denise Romanelli Memorial Scholarship ($1,000 for female entering medical field)- Avary Ruocchio
- Vietnam Veteran Captain Brian Moderack Memorial Scholarship ($750 for ROTC/Color Guard student) - Andrew Perez
- WWII Veteran Sgt. Walter A Moderack Memorial Scholarship ($1250 for ROTC/Color Guard student)- Jurissa DeOcampo
- Riverpointe Men's Club Scholarships ($500 for 2 males and $500 for 2 females) -Michael Loffredo, Aaliyah Douglas, Elizabeth Cadmus, Nicolas Loffredo
- Riverpointe Women's Club Scholarships ($1,000 for 1 male and 1 female) - Brennan DePhillips and Gabriella Edwards
- Senior Citizens Club of Crestwood IV Scholarships ($1,000 for 2 students) -Angelo Terrero and Abigail Peluso
- Chris Tubby and Deborah Wilson Giving Fund Scholarship-In Memory of Deborah Wilson ($1,000 for student pursuing business or medical career)- Jurissa DeOcampo
The Manchester Township Educational Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization with a long-term mission to improve the quality of educational experiences for all students in the Manchester Township Public School District. MTEF aims to foster community support for the Manchester Township School District in order to go beyond the limits of the regular school budget to provide Manchester students with the best educational programs and equipment. In addition to scholarships, they award classroom and school grants for new programs and equipment. The foundation is currently seeking new volunteers. Learn more at www.mtef4kids.org.
