Motorcyclist Killed, Wife Injured In Crash With Tow Truck In Jackson
The man, from the New Egypt section of Plumsted, died at the scene of the crash, police said.
JACKSON, NJ — A New Egypt man was killed and his wife was injured in a crash involving a flatbed tow truck and a motorcycle in Jackson on Thursday, police said Monday.
The motorcycle driver, Mr. Erin Doyle, 53, died at the scene of the crash that happened about 3:15 p.m. Thursday, Jackson Police Chief Matthew Kunz said.
Doyle and his 47-year-old wife, whose name was not released, were riding a 1998 Harley Davidson motorcycle north on Hawkin Road when they were hit by a 1997 Ford F-350 flatbed tow truck that was making a left turn into a driveway, Kunz said.

Doyle's wife was flown to a local trauma center for treatment of a serious leg injury, Kunz said.
The tow truck driver was not injured, he said.
