Candidates for Ocean County Commissioner under the banner of “Ocean County Democrats”
At the June 4th primary, Democratic voters in Ocean County will have the opportunity to vote for Joseph Lamb and Regina Discenza for Ocean County Commissioner.
Joseph is a former Vice President of Finance and board member of a two hundred-million-dollar international company and was a C.P.A. Joseph graduated from Rutgers and attended Rutgers Graduate School of Business where he completed fifteen credits. Joseph is a Brick resident over 40 years.

In Brick, Joseph organized a successful petition drive to let the voters decide if a Republican administration should purchase a dated ice-skating rink. Joseph coached over four hundred youth basketball games at St. Dominic's in Brick and was a Eucharistic Minister. He is the father of four sons. Joseph also served as a caregiver to his youngest brother with Down’s Syndrome, who attended ARC Lakewood, for almost 7 years.
Joseph received a Secret Clearance at 18 years of age in the U.S.M.C., did two tours back-to-back in Vietnam in 1968 and 1969 and was promoted to sergeant.

Regina is a former 2 term Lacey School Board Member and has been attending school board meetings for 20 years. She is a Lacey resident for 25 years and currently a member of the Lacey Municipal Alliance. Married 35 years with two sons, a US Navy officer and a registered nurse.
Mrs. Discenza graduated from John Jay College in New York with a BA degree cum laude in Criminal Justice. Regina has been a public advocate for many years attending Lacey Township Committee meetings, Planning Board meetings, and Lacey Municipal Utilities Authority meetings. Mrs. Discenza takes the law seriously and holds public officials accountable for their spending of public funds. She has been attending Ocean County Commissioner meetings for approximately 2 years.
Regina served as a legal guardian to an elderly great Aunt with Alzheimer’s for 8 years. And later as an advocate for her parents afflicted with dementia.
Mrs. Discenza also serves as the Noon Usher at St. Pius X Parish in Lacey.
We are not career politicians and are committed to the taxpayers of Ocean County.
And we own no companies that do business with the County.
We are the only Ocean County Commissioner candidates that have not helped George Gilmore become a more powerful political figure. The choice for qualified and moral candidates is in your hands.
