Open House Showing Off Refreshed Whiting Vet Clinic

New owners have taken over after the previous vet retired. See what's new and check out other aspects of the open house.

MANCHESTER, NJ — Whiting Veterinary Clinic is set to hold its annual open house on Saturday, June 17, and is welcoming the community.

The clinic's previous owner has retired and the clinic was acquired by Rarebreed Veterinary, which is ready to show off updates and changes it has made.

Meet the new core of veterinary doctors, surgical technicians and support staff and enjoy guided tours throughout the clinic.

In addition to tours of the facility there are scheduled demonstrations from:

  • Kathleen Barton, dog trainer/behaviorist and owner of Kat's Divine K9 Academy, demonstrating behavioral correction techniques;
  • Members of Manchester Police Department's K9 Unit

In addition, there will be Off the Leash Dog Truck, a mobile retail dog treat truck, which will be serving up delicious small-batch dog treats made from locally sourced ingredients.

Representatives from Boehringer Ingelheim, makers of Heartgard and Nexgard will be on hand to answer questions and hand out information.

Whiting Veterinary Clinic is located at 108 Lacey Road, Suite 14 in Whiting.
