Raymond Ricciardi Of Manchester: He Loved Doo-Wop, Old Movies

MANCHESTER, NJ — Family and friends are mourning Raymond Ricciardi of Manchester, who died Nov. 21 at home. He was 74.

Raymond was born in Newark on Feb. 2, 1947, and lived in South Orange for many years before moving to Manchester in 2016.

Raymond worked for Mielach Woodwork company in Edison, and RJ Hoppe Construction company in Newark, and was a member of New Jersey Carpenters Local 821.

Raymond enjoyed fishing and loved listening to doo-wop music and watching old movies.

Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Rose (Salerno); his son, Raymond Ricciardi and his children Raymond and Genna Ricciardi; Lisa Todisco and her husband, Michael Todisco; Joseph Ricciardi and his son Gabriel Ricciardi. He was predeceased by his brother Anthony M. Ricciardi and the late Florence Ricciardi, Natale Labbazzetta and his wife Regina. His sister-in-law Elizabeth Salerno and the late Nicholas Salerno, his brother-in-law Frank LaCapra and the late Mary Jo LaCapra.

He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and dear friends all of whom he loved.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Diabetes Foundation or Kidney Foundation.

Arrangements were handled by the Forked River Funeral and Cremation Service, Lacey Township.
