JACKSON, NJ — Six Flags Great Adventure is opening for the 2023 season soon, just in time for spring break for students around the Garden State.

This Spring Break, however, the amusement park is offering an added level of fun that will appeal to its Fright Fest fans.

"Scream Break," scheduled for April 8-15, is an extension of hours at the park and will include some of the features of Fright Fest, including haunted houses, a scare zone, ghouls, and nighttime rides on seven major rides, including the Great American Road Race, Sling Shot and Dare Devil Dive. Superman: Ultimate Flight, The Green Lantern, Twister, and Kingda Ka will be operating as well.

"Our army of ghouls take over The Boardwalk and aren’t holding back," the park says.

Scream Break will be from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. on those dates and requires an additional fee for those who buy individual park tickets, and there is limited capacity, the park said.
