Sinkhole, Road Work Causing Detours, Delays In Manchester

MANCHESTER, NJ — Road work and a sinkhole repair are causing detours and delays for drivers in Manchester on Monday morning.

Beacon Street is closed on the eastbound side between Commonwealth Boulevard and Route 571 due to a sinkhole that's being repaired, Manchester police said.

For drivers who travel South Hope Chapel Road, it is reduced to one lane due to road work, police said.
