Boil Water Notice Issued In Manchester After Water Main Break

MANCHESTER, NJ — Residents of Crestwood Village 6 were under a boil water advisory Saturday night following a water main break that happened Saturday morning.

The boil water notice was issued as repairs continue on the break that happened in the area of Alpine and Congasia roads .

Manchester authorities said Crestwood Village 6 residents should bring tap water to a full boil for one minute before using for cooking or drinking, or should use bottled water instead.

"Utility crews are continuing to work on a water main break and expect to have the advisory lifted soon," authorities said in the update about 8 p.m. Saturday.
