Why We Walk To End Alzheimer’s: IMA Clinical Research

Network of integrated clinical research sites shares Association commitment to accelerating the nationwide effort to eliminate Alzheimer's

The Alzheimer's Association Greater New Jersey Chapter is spotlighting people and organizations who are making a difference in the fight to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia, by participating in the upcoming 2022 Walk To End Alzheimer’s (WTEA) - the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

Today we say thank you to IMA Clinical Research and Mark Weinberger, PhD, MPH, President and CEO, for joining the fight to end Alzheimer’s and all other forms of dementia. With a large footprint in the greater metro area, IMA Clinical Research is now an Elite sponsor of three Walk to End Alzheimer’s events. The company is a leading sponsor of the Mercer-Middlesex Walk taking place this year on September 17 at Veterans Park in Hamilton Township and the Essex-Hudson-Union Walk to End Alzheimer's®, on September 24 at South Mountain Recreation in West Orange, NJ. IMA is also the top sponsor of the Bergen-Passaic Walk to End Alzheimer's®, taking place on October 16 at Overpeck Park in Ridgefield Park, NJ. We are grateful for the support of IMA Clinical Research and their commitment to one day realizing a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia. IMA’s extraordinary passion and dedication to helping all those affected by the disease has inspired and motivated others to get involved. The funds raised by their effort, and others, helps propel the Association’s mission forward - accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

"We are thankful for the support of IMA Clinical Research. Our combined efforts are helping to advance the mission and has the potential to impact the lives of everyone affected by Alzheimer's disease, now and in the future. Alzheimer’s Association TrialMatch® connects individuals living with Alzheimer's, caregivers and healthy volunteers to clinical trials that may advance Alzheimer's research. The free, easy-to-use service allows you to see which studies are a good fit for you or a family member. To search for studies, receive email notifications about new opportunities or connect with research teams go to alz.org/trialmatch”, said Casey Snyder, Director of Development, Alzheimer’s Association Greater NJ Chapter.
