In 2010, Pico Design was awarded the license for a Frank Lloyd Wright Jewelry Collection. The license allows Pico to work closely with the foundation to adapt designs from original plans and drawings. Pico also partnered with Grass Roots Business Funds to help bring sustainable economic opportunities to artisans producing her designs in Bali, Indonesia.

Nature and its beauty have been the inspiration for her work for many years. “I am fascinated by the sensuousness of Light. To witness the morning light, the filtered light through the trees and the soft haze of a fog; to capture nature’s essence and communicate it with my painting. To consciously avoid elaboration, rather leave a soft mark that allows the viewer to fill in the rest…the way fog slowly lifts on a misty morning
Her newest works… are inspired from a trip she took early this summer to Tuscany. “The Springtime in Tuscany reveals a very different pallet, I loved experiencing a different season, and I’ve tried to capture the potential and promise of Spring in these paintings.”
O’Leary has a BFA from the School of Visual Arts, she teaches workshops at Geralyn’s Art Studio and in Tuscany, Como and Ireland.
Come “Meet and Greet” the artists at a Wine Reception and Trunk Show on Friday, September 7, from 4:30- 8 pm. The Pico Design Trunk Show will continue on Saturday, September 8, from 1- 6 pm.
