Jersey Animal Coalition Tuxes & Tails
October 13 gala will benefit the Maplewood animal shelter.

The following press release is from the Jersey Animal Coalition:
The Jersey Animal Coalition (JAC) will host their Tuxes & Tails Soirée gala fundraiser on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at The Grand Summit Hotel in Summit at 6:30 p.m. The JAC is an all-volunteer, no-kill shelter, which has placed more than 10,000 stray and abandoned pets since it was founded in 1989.

All proceeds will benefit the Jersey Animal Coalition, a private not-for-profit 501(c)(3) and will allow the shelter to continue its mission of preserving life by adopting, not euthanizing.
The honorary chairman for the event is Senator Frank Lautenberg. Adam Zipkin, Deputy Mayor, Newark will be a special guest at the gala. The event will be emceed by CBS 2 Chief Weatherman Lonnie Quinn.

The elegant event will feature an orchestra, hors d'oeuvres, a four course dinner, an open bar, desserts and silent and live auctions. Valet parking is available and black tie is optional.
