An Irvington resident was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI) after he drove his car into a garage while attempting to park, according to Capt. John Perna of the Maplewood Police Department. The man, Vikenslan Telemaque, hit the garage on 130 Jacoby Street around 4 a.m. on Monday, September 17, causing damage to the structure. Perna said he has no information on whether the man knew the residents of the house.
