13 Graduate From Marlboro Township Police Youth Academy

MARLBORO, NJ — Graduates of the Marlboro Township Police Youth Academy’s 9th class were honored in a graduation ceremony that took place on Friday night.
Held at Marlboro Middle School, the graduation ceremony honored the 7th and 8th graders who participated in the academy throughout the last two weeks.
Each day of the program, participants got to experience life as a police academy recruit, and were subject to drill and ceremony, physical training, classroom presentations and live demonstrations.

In addition to academy programs, participants also received instruction on everything from the State Police Bomb Squad to witnessing a medivac helicopter landing, investigating a mock crime scene, and even becoming CPR certified.
As part of the academy, participants also took field trips to Newark Airport to get a behind-the-scenes look from Port Authority officers and firemen, and visited the Monmouth County Courthouse to see how the criminal justice system functions beyond the realm of law enforcement.

"Congrats to the class of the 2025 MTPD Youth Academy for graduating and devoting their summers to learning law and proving themselves," the Marlboro Police Cadets said in an online post.
Marlboro Police Chief Peter Pezzullo was a keynote speaker at the ceremony and was in attendance along with Youth Academy Director Timothy Snyder, Senior Physical Training Instructor Anthony DiMarco and more.
