2 DWI Checkpoints Set For Labor Day Weekend In Monmouth County: See Where

During the checkpoints, members of Monmouth County's DWI Task Force will work alongside local police officers.

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — The Monmouth County DWI Task Force is set to conduct two DWI checkpoints for the upcoming holiday weekend, DWI Task Force Coordinator Michael Schneider told Patch.

The first checkpoint will take place on Friday in Marlboro Township, Schneider said.

The checkpoint will begin at 9 p.m. on Friday night and end at 1 a.m. on Saturday morning. All northbound vehicles on Route 9 will be diverted into the Crunch Fitness parking lot, where all drivers will be screened for their sobriety.

The second DWI checkpoint will take place on Saturday in Allenhurst, Schneider said.

The checkpoint will begin at 9 p.m. on Saturday night and run until 1 a.m. on Sunday morning. All northbound vehicles on Main Street will be diverted onto Elberon Avenue, where all drivers will be screened for their sobriety.

During the checkpoints, Schneider said members of the DWI Task Force will be working alongside local police officers for the duration of the events.
